A little while back, a scam artist got the best of my parents and put my family deep in debt. We had to skip town, and my future was looking iffy at best. But thanks to a kind relative, I got into a vocational school “Finally, I can really enjoy life!” I arrived at the Sunshine Dorm with hope blooming in my heart. Turns out, it was a homey place full of girls, girls, girls! This has to be where I’ll meet the love of my life! But the joy of being surrounded by hotties lasted only a moment. Before I knew it, they all distrusted me because I was the only guy! Well, I’m not giving up yet! I swear, I’m gonna make this year one to remember! Repacklab.com sexy games
Adult content includes a few illustrations of characters kissing. Characters enter a sexual relationship that is not shown on screen, but acts of which are brought up in conversation. Also, every appearing character is over 18 years old The best thing about Smee VNs, atleast the ones that have been Localised , is the Humour , And so Far this one Delivers on that. Had some really good laughs . Hopefully more to follow The Art is also Great on par with the previous two Smee releases The Girls are Interesting, really liking them all equally as of now. Each one has very distinct personalities The protagonist leans more towards the pervy side.. getting “Aoba Kyousuke” vibes from Fureraba, but its not him Also another thing to note is that the Sprites have blinking Eyes ..
rom-com visual novel
Sugar * Style. Presented by Smee & NekoNyan, is a rom-com visual novel in which you enjoy various events with 4 main heroines. The Smee games are usually high quality, and somewhat similar in the sense that it includes cute heroines with a funny plot but also with short but important moments of seriousness. Their games are all rom-coms yet they more often than not focus on the comedy than the romance. Also, its Japanese anime style artwork and voice overs are pretty good. Honestly, Sugar Style gives the impression that it isn’t as well put together as their previous game “Making Lovers.” But the comedic aspects in it were still just as strong and we personally liked it. However the common route (the prologue). Cafe Stella and the Reaper’s Butterflies
takes up quite a bit of the game which results in weaker amounts of romance unlike other SMEE games. However, this game also has a strong cast of side characters that many readers may find enjoyable. Regarding the choice system, players can choose a heroine’s route after completing the prologue that, depending on their choice, determines what many of the common routes’ events are. The main difference in Sugar * Style compared to other Smee games is that the protagonist is the one that falls in love first and players watch him try to ask the girl out. However, the heroines seem to treat the protagonist like a fool until the prologue is over, which readers may find uncomforting. It’s mainly focused on comedic situations as it is a rom-com.
Sugar Style Prologue
A young student named Kazuki Oribe or whatever the player chose, decides to leave his hometown for a busier city and enroll in Shirai Ernest Vocational School, but he let the parents choose the dormitory where the young man would go stay, who chose an old dormitory far from the city because it was managed by the protagonist’s aunt. But little does the young student know that this old dormitory will be the beginning of a new phase, both about love and suffering due to the various confusions and sharp comments from his roommates, five girls, as previously it was an exclusively female dormitory. Comments that started due to an unfortunate “accident” caused by one of his classmates, which ended up causing him to be caught with a box of “innocent” Tame It
magazines and pink panties, filling the girls with rage. Now the protagonist needs to survive, and little by little gain the confidence of the girls who consider him a total pervert, which leads to several and very fun moments. So despite having just two choices, we have a great comedy especially when combined with the personality of the four selectable girls. They are Mao Minami, a girl who studies to work taking care of children, kind, always worrying about others and wanting to help, but at the same time she believes in everything she hears which leads to misunderstandings. Hare Kusunoki, PE student, full of energy and ready to help with anything needs strength, but at the same time very innocent, and overreacts when she sees anything “pure”.
Setting & Characters:
The usual high school romcom is replaced with a college romcom instead and the characters are upped in age to match. As someone tired of the same old high school setting, this was a nice, yet familiar change of pace. You get to keep the school setting somewhat, but with slightly more adult characters. I say slightly because this game is still heavy on middle school humor. The characters may be older, but they still use the same old immature jokes – the type where the term “pervert” is used on the daily. I won’t deny, this can make the game a bit grating at times. However, the characters aren’t complete children. With the university setting, responsibility actually becomes an important theme here. Seek Girl Fog Ⅰ
The characters are getting their lives together and trying to figure out what it is they want to do and the game does a good job showing this aspect of growing up, albeit, in a comedic way. The “jobs” mechanic expands on this theme further, although a lot of those scenes are just filler. There is some progression here, but it might actually be better to think of Sugar * Style as a series of cherry-picked slice of life scenes. This game weighs heavily on the comedy aspect and these scenes really emphasize that. Cutting off lines for comedic impact, voice acting with a sense of edge to it – the game does a great job in that department even if the humor can be a bit tropey. That’s not to say that there’s no development though – you do get to pick a heroine route.
