Just hook up a microphone and you’re good to go! Solve Puzzles with your voice, Play through six expansive, vibrant biomes, Sing, hum, and beatbox to change the world, Meet three whimsical hermits who aid you throughout this musical journey, Grow confidence in your voice, Sing your song, This is one of the most original games I have every played in a very very long time! First off, don’t worry if you can’t actually sing, the game guides you with a dot on the screen and you can hear your tone through the game as an echo) The puzzles get progressively complex in a good way and while it doesn’t provide a direct guide and hand-holding to what you are supposed to do, it usually wasn’t too hard to figure out.
A 2D adventurous platformer with quite a unique concept. Play as this cute, little character who sings as you go on an adventure and solve puzzles. The cool part of the game is that you use the power of your singing to solve these puzzles, as the music sounds are triggers the environment. There is the platforming element to the game too as you move around the areas, moving objects and finding the right way and solutions to progress through your singing. Visually it looks charming with the charming, vibrant and colourfulness of the game. The fun of it is the singing aspect as that is what makes the game interesting. Not sure what to sing so was just singing random stuff. Perhaps just playing a random song would work too, which can be funny too though would also take a bit of the fun away. Scrapland Remastered
Overall, it is quite a neat game with a cool idea with fun gameplay. Great to play by yourself, or with another person as you sing together to play the game. One Hand Clapping is a fun and challenging game that feels completely original in its gameplay. The puzzles and voice controls can prove tricky at times but are forgiving in a way that makes room for casual play styles and satisfying solutions. Singing to control and change a game’s environments can feel a little unnerving, to begin with, but the immersive content soon counters this. Overall, this unique new game is refreshing and entertaining and very easy to recommend.
art is great
This game is great the art is great some of the puzzles with your voice are fun and super dope. My main complaint though is any puzzle that is strict with pitch is nigh impossible (For me anyways). The game is not that accurate it’s accurate to an extent but sometimes you’ll change pitch noticeably and it won’t track or sometimes you’re not changing pitch and it’s bouncing everywhere. The puzzles that weren’t super strict were a ton of fun, but the strict ones almost ruined the game for me tbh I almost quit multiple times before the end that’s in the game so far. I really loved the character design as well it was amazingly cute One Hand Clapping is one of the most unique games that I have had the pleasure of playing. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Digital Deluxe
Like a master gymnast or ballerina, One Hand Clapping daringly combines the two genres of singing and puzzle games while gracefully sticking the landing. The execution is so flawless that I believe that this is a genre defining title, which I will be henceforth christening Claplikes. The father of Claplikes seamlessly hits that puzzle game itch, while also encouraging its audience to sing their own song. While still in early access, I encourage everyone to give the game a chance as it will surely become a classic in its own right I would like to note that there are some reviews that state you have to be a professional singer in order to play this game. I would like to state that is not true. I am by no means a professional singer.
One Hand Clapping Steam Reviews
I’ve been playing a LOT of platformers lately but none like this one, wow. As long as you can produce sound with your voice you can definitely use their calibration tools to make sure that controls will register properly. So don’t worry too much about whether or not you have experience singing. I was in choir growing up so this was a fun way to incorporate my gaming background and my musical background in a unique way. They have an educational mode to toggle on a guide that shows you what note you’re singing, in case it’s easier to modulate your voice with a visual aid/scale view. Highly recommend it if you have difficulty knowing if you’re actually making your voice too high versus slightly higher (and yes, that level of precision is required for some puzzles). Deus Ex Human Revolution Complete Edition
The art is gorgeous and the world is fun to discover, with very little dialogue (that I can remember, at least). My only complaint is that it was confusing at first to figure out how the environment could be passed through versus jumped onto. For example, if trying to jump onto a platform, it is possible to jump through it and then land on it (versus in some games you would need to jump around it and then onto it because it is impermeable). Once I understood how they treated objects in the environment it was straightforward to plan jumps from there. This is a beautiful game with a unique way of playing. I admit I feel a little silly singing to myself, but as the difficulty ramps up a bit it feels a lot more purposeful than just making random noises and hoping for the best like one might do.
